On January 19, Deputy Director Cheryl Sharp provided the welcome at the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Bell Ringing Ceremony. The Ceremony was held at the state Capitol and was preceded by a legislative breakfast. For many years the Commission has served as the Secretariat for the MLK Holiday Commission.
